When I was a Produce clerk at Vons years back that auto water system was high tec. In the old days we had to spray down all the Wet shelf items every 30 minutes and one manager made us log it into a clipboard in the back room to make sure we did it. We were happy to never fill that log out again!!. I did notice a drop of 4 hours a week in our alotted total dept hours for the week. A money saver in labor for the company
