Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) I bought a 64mb USB Flash Drive at Staples for about $10, I've never used one before and I have a few questions.

First, When I inserted it into my USB port for the first time it immediately recognized it as a new device (F: drive) and it began to install new drivers onto my computer, will this installation of drivers occur everytime I reinsert the Flash Drive into my USB port?

Second, Does anyone know what the estimated life expectancy of a USB Flash Drive is if it is used on a regular basis?

Third and finally, Can a USB Flash Drive be left in the USB Port when the computer is either left on or turned off or should I remove it before shutting down the computer and put in storage until I need it again.
