Actually, any french token or chip could be called a jeton, whether clay, plastic, or even metal. It's become common (at least on this bb) to call any acrylic chip made by B+G or other european chip makers a jeton. It's not really proper usage, but I don't have any suggestions for a better term to refer to these plastic chips.
