I have a few of these older, clay, blank large key mold chips . By blank I mean these chips have not been hot-stamped.
I bought a box of these chips on a few years ago. Mostly I wanted the box because it's from the San Francisco Card Co. The chips were a bonus because they were the first blank chips (older chips) I’d ever seen. So I started a sub-collection to my chip mold collection: Older clay chips that have never been stamped. I have a dozen or so chips in this category now. I think they're pretty cool. Probably only worth a buck or two apiece (and probably not even that to many chippers), but I think they’re interesting.
Anyway, I have these chips . The chips are in absolutely pristine condition. (The white flecks in the scan are pieces of lint on the scanner glass, not defects on the chips.) The edges are so sharp you can shave with 'em! Ok, not that sharp, but you get the idea. I'd like to trade for other blank (never hot-stamped) chips with other molds.
Any interest? Please email me.
