I just downloaded the browser data speed program from PC Magazine to see how my local cable connection is doing. I had noiced that interaction with The Chip Board was painfully slow. The figures show that I am about right for Comcast (one of the faster services, nationwide) using the test sites they provide (including eBay).
However, when I added a personal site to the list, www.thechipboard.com, the data rates dropped to about 1/10th of the other sites. Is it all the graphics that Duke linked to today, or is something else amiss? I checked the www.ccgtcc.com, which I believe is on the same server, and it stats are fine
