You certainly have a right to your opinion, I just happen to disagree with you. Furthermore, slabs are no comparison to air-tights, which can be easily opened for inspection, then re-sealed.

What I do agree with, is the protection of a high end chips and collections. I just don't think individual slabbing is the answer. I personally would put more faith in a non licensed appraisal conducted by fellow collectors. The people who feel, touch, examine, research, buy, sell and trade them on a daily basis.
