If you use McAfee, did you receive an upgrade ?

Four or five days ago I received from McAfee a downloadable major upgrade.

It took mayby an hour to go through the whole download.

Immeaditaly after installing the download, my computer slowed by at least 60%.

I have DSL.

It now takes 8 to 10 minutes to warm up from start. Before, mayby 5. It now takes 1 minute and 35 seconds to bring up my home page (thechipboard ) Before, less than 5 seconds. 45 seconds to bring up an additional page. Before, 2 seconds. And on and on.

I've gone from Superman to Sammy Snail.

Do you have McAfee ? Did you receive notice of an upgrade ? Did you install it ? Any noticable changes/problems.

I'm at my whits end with this thing. HELP?
