My point is that the chip is worth what it sold for. There's a scan of one side to identify what chip the seller is offering and a grade to identify the condition of the one being sold. I see no misrepresentation, and would not protest if I won the lot. If you feel your collection deserves a better grade, put this one in the collection for now and upgrade at the next show when you can examine it before purchase.
Mail order sales, which is what auction lots are, deserve some leeway in description. Although I'd have rather seen the seller state that the scan is for identification only, I don't see a problem with what he did do. Some who post on this board seem to feel that any picture must be of the exact physical chip being offered... my point is that for inexpensive chips, or for new-condition chips, I don't think this is a requirement, and bidders should accept that when they bid.
