So, according to the poker odds calculator on the Cardplayer web-site, Lane's odds against aces and kings was about 16.75%. The six to one odds were not ample, but rather, just enough. Unless he had an enormous stack at that time (maybe he did), I think his pre-flop call after the re-raise was very loose. Yes, he had pot odds, but tournaments are also about survival. Pure drawing hands don't have the same value as in a cash game. JMHO. I'm sure others disagree. Obviously, he did.
