A few years ago I saw him at the World Poker Open playing an event that I was playing in. (Not the main event but one of the earlier events). He looked like a worn down person and I always wondered if he was broke or not. I looked up his profile just now on poker pages and it appears he hasn't cashed in any tournament since his WSOP 2nd place appearance in 1998.
