Past PRIME
A few weeks back we broke the news about the massive changes going on at the Bellagio’s PRIME Steakhouse. Corporate couldn’t commit on anything because it involved personnel issues, but the dust has not settled and PRIME has a whole new look. Gone is most of the management team, both in back and front of the house, as well as a large chunk of the service staff and hostesses. Apparently, comping privileges were being abused - the host stand was selling big money group reservations to service staff that would kick back tips and servers were giving away free food to lure a bigger tip from stuffed patrons. Dan Adams has signed on as the new general manager for PRIME Steakhouse, moving downstairs from the Bellagio Buffet to takeover the helm and right the ship. It’s definitely an interesting development and one we will be following.
