Aberdeen is one of the permitted gaming areas, but I haven't come across any details for this casino other than the fact that several jetons and chips have surfaced over the past year or so. Aberdeen comes under both headings (althogh probably the coldest coastal resort in the UK - you sunbathe to go from blue-cold to white!!!)
The gaming law as it currently stands only permits casinos in areas which in the early 1970's had a population which was felt to be able to support gaming. This covers a number of coastal resorts along with most larger cities throughout the UK.
Prior to when the gaming laws were more strictly enforced, as you said there were a number of illegals in the UK. I have some chips and jetons for a few, but many probably used unmarked gaming tokens, chips etc. The best I have were some tokens, with values and a 'w' marking, which came from the Wildmore casino in Stratford-upon-Avon (home of Shakespeare!). NOT a permitted gaming location, and not the best ever items for most collectors (see link below) but I obtained these from the niece of the lady who ran the small casino in a hotel and I have a long letter with details of what they used to get up to - will try and find it and post the details!
One useful help is that there are virtually no post-decimalisation illegals, so the denominations should be in l-s-d (pounds, shillings and pence) to be likely to be genuine.

p.s. Anthony - sorry for delay, but your latest jeton scans are on the website as of last week! Jason
