From Roland Shoff:
There are quite a few different jetons from there and quite a few different chips from there. The chips that have 50 pence on them are HHR chips. Only a couple were in decent condition the rest had no hot stamp left.
There were crest and seal chips used for the roulette tables and there were also crest and seal chips that had 20p hotstamped on them (20 pence) There were jetons from the Blue Chip Club that were 10 shillings and 2 shillings and 4 shillings, this information is valuable because it dates the jetons back to pre 1974 which from what I am told was when the UK stopped using this form of currency.
The club was originaly called the Elgin Playring and I have jetons from that era too.
The building this casino was in was demolished 10-15 years ago and the casino had been shut down a while before then. Most of the jetons have no hot stamp and will be destroyed.
If I think of anything else I will let you know.
By the way when I got these they had been in a shed and covered with dog hair and dirt for years in a shed in the UK. It took me 6 months to get these jetons and chips.
