I don't know what you have but will trust you know what you have. Just to note though, while mercury is a liquid one of it's cheracteristics is that it will beed up into little balls when dripped on a counter. That is one of the reasons we played with it when we were kids. You could roll the little balls of mercury into each other and they would morph into one another and form bigger blobs. Break them apart again into little beads and they would roll around as though they were solid but they were really liquid.

I don't know that you need to call hazmat either. That might be extreme unless you spill a quantity of it. I would still be careful though with your exposure. Wash your hands well after touching it and try not to get your hands into your mouth. You might also want to wear gloves as it might absorb through the skin and all. Be careful.
