Following through on my threat to post more images from Mario Puzo’s Inside Las Vegas I’ve selected this series from the WSOP. I’m also on a quest to put an ID on one player pictured at the final table in particular. I might have the info around the place somewhere or could Google the stuff but I hope you might enjoy seeing the pics as well as educating me. Putzing around with chips and poker seems kind fun tonight…well, more fun than the 70 hours I put in at work this week!

First up we have this image of the final table. One problem is that the book and photos contained were copyrighted in both ’76 and ’77 so I can’t tell you which year this table took place. Take note of the two fellas with the big stacks at seat 8 and 10.

On the way to my question of the day we’ll take a look at some of the atmosphere this book portrays so well. No prizes, sorry, just that warm fuzzy feeling that you’ve helped another chipper along his way.
