We hardly ever can afford food. You know how it is.

We have a neighbor that subscribes to GOURMET magazine. We watch his dumpster really close. When he throws out back issues of GOURMET we clip out pictures of yummy looking food and hang them up in the kitchen.Then just set around table and pretend we are eating all that yummy stuff.

We go out behind the grocery stores and dig "GOOD" stuff that is barely expired out of their dumpsters. That works well too. Got some great muffins today and as luck would have it a few bottles of barely expired "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter." Yummy.
