Re: 32 Fremont St. - Sassy Sally's & Mermaids

I don't mind the rambling at all... it's all so fascinating to me. I really can't wait to get there (less than a month away now) and go to the General Store and various antique malls.. and then all the things I've read about on here..

I swear, you wouldn't expect a 23 year old to go to Las Vegas to walk around, see the sights, and learn more about the history of the city... usually all they do is drink, gamble and a few other things. But all I wanna do this trip is walk around, learn all I can, talk to people in stores like the owner you talked to about Joe W. Brown. It's just so fascinating. I truly wish I would have been alive to see Vegas in it's true glory days.

How easy is it there to find various collectibles from casinos (i.e. older chips, dinnerware, etc)? One of my favorite parts of my collection is old casino dinnerware. One of these days I will actually be able to afford a Moulin Rouge wine or champagne glass! lol

Keep up the stories... I learn so much from them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
