All of the new $200 silver strikes have painted flat surfaces as far as I know Greg.

I personally prefer the older type strikes that were struck in relief with 24k gold highlights, but evidently the minting firm has cut back on expenses.

It remains to be seen if demand for the new style $200's will be maintained by the $200 silver strike collectors over the long haul ... or if collecting interest for the new $200 strikes will be significantly diminished.
