When I was in high school (or wherever) years ago, the first hand-held calculators cost over $100 (a lot of money then), and it was a problem to keep the decimal point straight. Now they give much better ones away for free, like C. T. Rogers I think did at our convention a few years ago, for advertising purposes. My el cheapo cell phone has a calculator built into it. Come to think of it, so does my watch.
