Virtually all dice with rounded corners are souvenirs. All the dice I have seen that are used for gaming have square corners on all the edges. I am not enough of an authority to speak in absolutes but that is the rule of thumb I use. Note that the inverse is not true - not all square cornered dice were used in gaming....
