But I'm betting it's the sense of smell you'll wish you were missing the next time you find yourself downwind of one of the city's greatest embarrassments, the retched, rotting Motel Royal at 615 Las Vegas Blvd. South. There's nothing like a bad smell to make visitors and locals alike want to head for the state line, or at least the Strip and Summerlin.
