Personally, I thought Fool's Die was a waste. It started off great, but never went anywhere. After reading the last chapter, I kept looking for a hidden chapter (or even a page!) for some sort of conclusion.

Other than The Godfather, I thought The Last Don was one of Puzo's most enjoyable books. Weaving Vegas, Hollywood, and the New York "Famiglia" provided an entertaining read.
