If I was the seller, I'd probably stick to the BS story as well....it SOUNDS good...but:
DUH....the Russians hit Berlin first, and looted the city for three days straight....
So if it was "brought back to the UK in '46" (LOL), then the British guy who brought them must have received them as a gift from a Russian soldier....
highly suspect in any case......we know the chips are from here. Regardless, the price is fair notwithstanding the description.
