Sal Sagev
1 Fremont St.
Gaming Ceased in 1934
Sal Sagev is Las Vegas spelled backwards. According to a postcard, it's pronounced "Sal Sagy" (I could never decide if that's Sal Sagee or Sal Saggy! )
The building was constructed in 1906 (the first building in Las Vegas to be constructed with cement blocks...that was one of Andy's Holiday quiz questions once!) and it originally opened as the Nevada Hotel.
We have the dishes and the menu, all we need is a napkin and the silverware...
The lady that saved this soap as a souvenir of her trip wrote "July 1945" on it.
