Myself - I have asked what a reserve is on a auction - Reason? - I don't have the time to play around on 1 auction, so I ask - If the reserve matches what I am willing to pay , I bid the reserve and move on to another - I see no harm in telling what a reserve is - If someone is serious in buying it - they will ask - Or you can just start it at the reserve price
