May be true. Some casinos promote 'responsible gaming' more than others. Dont our casinos do that? Oh, yes, I just remembered, they wait until you lose your shirt before doing anything
The whole thing was a good PR stunt in my opinion. Someone like Max Clifford or Saatchi must have been involved.

This came up once before over here. Something about 'secondary betting' (ie betting on the outcome of someone elses bet) being prohibited.
I remember before the days of the big chains, you could get a bookie to take a bet on anything.
