The name of the resort is "The Grand Aruba, and is part of the Occidental resorts chain. It's officially refered to as the "Occidental Grand Aruba". It seems that whoever buys the place just sticks their chain name on the front and keeps the original "Grand".

The former official name of the resort prior to Occidental purchasing the property was : "Allegro Aruba Grand Hotel"
