Would be interesting to find out where the chip was used after MGM took delivery. Seems as if Los Angeles-based T.R. King supplied chips that ended up as show biz props with regularity. There were the Large Crown S.S. Fortune chips from a Thin Man movie and the $100 Meteor Casino chips. I was watching 77 Sunset Stip one night and here was the chip we'd been calling the "comet chip" attributed to Warner Bros. featured in this '58 melodrama. Keep your eye open when you're watching the oldies Dick!
