Not my time line, I just typed it (no, I didn't make a typo). It was the Nevada Club's time line. As Terry and I have pointed out, there were a couple of major omissions in 1956 (our BIRTHDAYS!! ), so there could be other errors.

Possibly the Nevada Club didn't want to share their opening month with the Sands, more likely someone's research was a bit off. Checked Jim Gelette's pamphlet, Anderson's ashtray book, Fuller's Index, Sunset book "Las Vegas the Entertainment Capital"...all agree with the December 15, 1952 date. Keep your invite out of the trash.
