I represent the Henderson seller who should know better and I was under the assumption that they had been pulled. I haven't been to the stardust in months but the last time I was there I asked the guy at the cage. He said that he thought they were replacing them with the new chips in a few weeks. So months go by I see the next series release by Paulson and the old chip being sold on Ebay as obsolete and so it makes perfect sense for me to list it as obsolete.
Here's my question, where do you draw the line for obsolete. No more than a few weeks ago I found a couple Flamingo Hilton chips on a Flamingo craps table. If my memory serves me correct that chip was 4 releases ago and under a different name and still being played. (I can't imagine how the dealers feel at the Flamingo with 4 series of chips still circulating)Can we call it obsolete?
P.S. I'm closing shop for at least a week to reinventory everything I have after tonight's auctions end so I'll make any necessary corrections after that.
