I remember all of that stuff! It wasn't just the keys were always in the car (and some cars didn't need a key), the only time the doors were locked on our house was when we went on vacation.
Another standout in the list for me pertains to the Fuller Brush Man. ...not in that they are still selling their stuff door-to-door, but the company is still in business. Their manufacturing plant is in Great Bend, Kansas, where I'll be Thursday through Sunday. The Fuller Brush plant is right next to the Great Bend Airport, and the Sunflower Rod and Custom Association Dragstrip is what used to be two of the airport's runways.
....and back when McDonalds burgers were 15 cents, they had competition here from a small chain known as Griff's Burger Bar. They were undercutting Mac by 3 cents a burger! You can buy the same burgers today at Sonic, with a bit less meat on them! (just kidding Greg)
