I completely understand your skepticism.

There is nothing I can do but give you my word that he has no more chips and this is the last one. Unfortunately, the veil of anonymity of the internet works against me in this situation, since you don't know me from Jack. There is not much that I can do to convince you that this is the *last* chip, except point out that I have been forthcoming with the information I have.

I have put myself in (been put in) a precarious position with this chip and my initial fears of crossing the chip trading community have proven to be real. It’s not a situation I wanted or desired. I am simply trying to sell a chip for my friend in the best, most efficient manner possible to make him a little money. I get nothing out of the deal except a nice steak dinner.

With respect to the supposition that I have more and/or a whole box of these chips: selling them piecewise wouldn’t work and would a silly way to approach getting rid of them. Besides there being a bunch in existence, which would directly affect the value of the chips, it would be a royal pain in rear put them up for auction individually. I suspected, and my suspicions are coming true, that selling this chip would raise some eyebrows after selling the first chip and stating that, “it was the only one I had.” At the time, that statement was true. The chip currently up for auction was found after the first, hence the second auction. Unfortunately, I am having to eat my words and my reputation, or lack thereof in the chip trading community, is being questioned.

I don’t know that there is anything I can do to ease your concerns. If there is anything that I can do please let me know. If you are considering bidding on the chip and want to talk to me about it, e-mail me with your request and we can arrange something.
