Maybe this thread should be about using the compression features in Adobe Professional.

I'm creating the guide in Microsoft Word, and inserting JPEG's of matchcovers. Then, I'll use Adobe Professional to convert it to a PDF file. I did a trial run of this a couple of weeks back and the PDF file seemed to be about the same size as the Word file that I started with. I now see that Adobe Professional has some options for reducing file size, so I'll look into that. I could probably also make the online file a ZIP file and further reduce the size.

If I can get it small enough, I might not have to look beyond my own website for a place to store it.
