There's a gap in the timeline of this property. Maybe it sat empty for a year, maybe there was a non-casino business using the property, maybe...???

We have the Rex Club closing in June, 1946, and the El Dorado opened on July 8, 1947. The El Dorado closed at the end of 1950.

The Clover Club was here from 1/1/47-8/51, when the Horseshoe opened. I've never seen any pictures or artifacts from the Clover Club. The Horseshoe will get it's own thread, probably tomorrow. Hope you've enjoyed the "tour" of the property! grin
