I think I can save you a few steps...
1) Assign a CG number
2) Scan the chip @ 600 dpi directly into Photoshop as .jpg
3) Edit for color and remove background
4) Save As (at 600 dpi) (hi def for future reference).
5) Do Save-As at 300 dpi (magazine article) (eliminates a scan)
6) Do Save-As 100 dpi (website, book) (eliminates a scan)
-) Convert from .tif to .jpg (not needed)
-) Copy the resulting files to their proper directories (place in correct folder while doing Save-As)
7) Add the chip to my personal collection database
8) Add the chip to ChipGuide.com (this takes much longer if it is from a completely new casino and I have to add all the stuff for that also.)
9) Add the chip to my book
-) Add the chip to my magazine article and convert the 300 dpi image to grayscale, remove the background, etc. (background is already gone, let Allan do the greyscale) lol
