I meant no disrespect to the Auction Chairman or to the tireless efforts of the volunteers. The leadoff question in this thread posed had to do with was ... "How was the Convention this year compared to others...”. With respect to the auction ... I believe the total prices realized were significantly down from the previous year. True; it was due to the lower number of lots submitted by consignors and had nothing to do with the efforts of those who put it all together. My sincere apologies are extended to Auction Chairman Barry Weintraub and his very capable staff.
