Maybe the reason the radio stations don't play the song because it sucks, not as you say because it isn't politically correct.

Lets face it, Diamond rio is a country group and most airplay you would expect them to get is on country music stations. Country music staions are not gnerally shy about playing songs that are considered "conservative" politically or religious for that matter.

I am a country music fan, I have seen Diamond Rio play. I like many of their songs, but this one sucks. Even if you got rid of the lyrics it does not appeal to me. There are many songs I enjoy even if I don't agree with message.

Just because you like the message of the song (however wrong that message is) doesn't make the song a good one.
