I agree with you 100 percent about the north shore of Tahoe, one of my favorite places in the world. If you stand in front of the Crystal Bay Club, formerly the Ta-Neva-Ho, you're looking right at the Tahoe Biltmore, formerly the Cal-Neva Biltmore/Nevada Lodge/Nevada Club. The current Biltmore coffee shop is where Joby's Monte Carlo was. If you look around the corner to the left, you can see where the Cal-Vada Lodge was (now a real estate office, I think), and to the right, where Jim Kelley's Nugget is, the Sierra Lodge used to operate. There is a lot of history in a relatively small space.
