Some folks ... like my wife Brenda as an example ... enjoys the thrill of the hunt and the find more than simply sending in a buy order over the computer. She really looks forward to her flea market/yard sales forays each weekend. Most times (just like fishing) she comes home empty-handed ... but that's what she enjoys doing ... rather than sitting n front of a computer searching for things to come up for sale on ebay. Last year, I purchased a significantly large selection of ashtrays at the CC & GTCC convention for her ... but she really would have preferred to find them on her own, one at a time.

To each their own of collecting styles... I've learned long ago that there is no right way or wrong way to collect. Do it the way that gives the most pleasure and personal satisfaction.

As an aside to my A.C. New Issues Service ... many of my subscribers are not on-line. Several of them are professional people who do not have the time or the interest to monitor message boards and ebay. I simply send the chips as they are issued with an invoice and they send me their payment.

The CC & GTCC has something like 2800 members ... but I doubt if 10% of them regularly visit thechipboard.com
