I've been on both sides of this beat, once each. I always call it the only true long shot beat in poker. A typical "long shot" one-outer, with two draws at it, is only 20-something-to-1, hardly a freak occurrence.

But the 1000-to-1 quads beat is freaky. Not necessarily suspicious at all, though.
