I need to buy something to measure the diameter of my coins and tokens and was wondering what most of you use. I've seen calipers with digital readouts on eBay for less than $20 including shipping, but the price seems low compared to most places that sell them for over $50.
I've also seens some plastic coin gauges where you slide the coin into a groove and read the hash mark where it stops to determine the diameter.
I think I'd prefer the digital or dial readout, but I'm too cheap to pay for quality. Are the $20 digital ones on eBay really junk?
