I was fighting a tooth ache all week at #14. Finally at the Landau Auction I'd had enough and went to bed. Fitful sleep until 3:00am and I knew it was a lost cause so I checked out and headed home.

I got some pain medicine yesterday from the family physician and will see our "Driller" tomorrow. I think he was a prize fighter before he went blind.

So, herewith (drum roll please) is the "Goodbye and Good to see/meet you" I intended to do Saturday. I also had blocked off Saturday to see the vendors I'd skipped Thu/Fri, maybe next time.

Someone posted earlier that they met more people this year than before, I share that. I met and ran into an awful lot of great chippers. Although the love of my life, Janice, left Wednesday morning (our 34th anniversary was Friday) I was able to get along. I made the final table at blackjack (spent my share on a few chips I wouldn't have picked up otherwise), and picked up a comp for seven days at #15. Is this a great hobby or what?
