Today’s note comes from the little known country of Kyrgyzstan. The Republic of Kyrgyzstan an independent state since August 31, 1991, is a member of the U.N. and the C.I.S. It was the last state of the Union Republics to declare its sovereignty. It was originally part of the Autonomous Turkestan S.S.R. founded May 1, 1918.

The note is a 2002 issue 100 Som it features Toktogul at right and as watermark. On the back are the Khan Tenyiri Mountains. The note contains UV markings, security strip and hologram for security. The book value of this note is $12.50 UNC. ENJOY!
