I for one (or two) have enjoyed the thoughtful, playful, and occasionally sharp bits of towel-snapping you have interjected into the group!
Good points have been made by either "side" (though why there has to be "sides" in a club is beyond me, although I have yet to be in a club that hasn't at least some amount of "side-ed-ness" to it).
It's nice to see folks talk/post when they are articulate and not easily rattled. I like to think of myself in that category as well, for the most part. Often the well-thought-out argument and well-articulated point of view is the most admirable part of the (any) discourse.
I've been known to stir a pot m'ownself occasionally, and never have offered an apology for doing so (or felt one was necessary, for that matter). Anyway, if the pot doesn't get stirred once in a while, the contents tend to get lumpy and stick together at best, and scorch and burn at the worst.
