I am out. I got exactly what I wanted but “cry me a river” story. I was BB, blinds $50 and $100. I’m in seat 3 and seat 10 makes it $350 to go. It’s $250 to me and I have 77. This #10 guy is up and down all tournament and big gambler. Right now he's way up in chips and kind of pushing the table around. Seat #1 keeps mumbling all day that #10 is an “atm”. During the break, seat #1 and #2 and I talk about how we can get paid off by #10…. Anyways back to my hand… I smooth call the $250 and the flop comes 357 with two diamonds. I see the two diamonds on the board and don’t want a free card and bet out $600. Down deep I hope he re-raises me and he does just that. he re-raises me all-in. I call and he has me covered. I actually had $2500 in chips and was sitting good up to this point. Anyways he’s bluffing with KQ diamonds. He had two over cards with flush draw and he was making a play at the pot. Unfortunatly for me, a diamond on the river kills me. If I win this hand, I can coast for awhile and wait for more big hands and probably make it into day two. that's poker I guess.
I probably would have played this hand the same way everytime but a friend said I probably should have just went all-in on the flop to get him off the hand. Who knows. I actually wanted him to play back at me because he was being a bully too. So I got what I was asking for!
Many thanks to Steve and Andy for setting up the satellite. I think it was a great and idea and Sorry I didn't do better for you all.
