Both these clubs use the MindPlay system to cheat their players and these crummy chips are part of the scheme. Little teensy cameras in the dealer's tray scan the ugly inserts while a little known device reads the cards as they are dealt. A computer looks for patterns in the player's action that may indicate advantage play. This is in the guise of keeping track of the players comps. If you're a high rolling dope, you get comped! If you believe that players deserve to count if'n the house does, you get run.
