Las Vegas is very HOT right now. Don't leave your chips in your car out in the sun. Try to park in a covered garage, put your chips in an insulted cooler bag in the trunk, or carry them with you.

Chips will warp if they get too hot.

Try carrying them with you in the air conditioned car along with the open bag. When you get out put the now cool chips in the cool bag and place in the trunk.

If you are renting a car, ask for a white or light color car. These stay a lot cooler.
