You say what it's not, but leave out what it is. What exactly is the problem? That the club initiated a dues increase after many years with no increase at all? The percentage (when the dues are that small, the percentage increase is likely to be large)? That the club allows life membership (any club that allows life membership allows member of long standing to avoid dues increases)? What is it? How about a calm post, in a new thread, where you clearly lay out the problems as you see them, and the solutions which are being overlooked or ignored. Then, perhaps, we could understand. Simply pointing out that people don't understand you is just not helpful. I have read most of your posts, and I'm still not sure where you stand. Is it that the club leadership gets to make decisions without input from all of the club members. I think you will find that in any large club. Please clear this up for me.
