Being a craps dealer since 1978, and making my living on tips, here is my opinion:
1. Tipping is a personal matter. Tip what you feel.
2. If you received good service from the employees in question (now or in the past), tip a little extra.
3. If you had already lost a lot of money in the machine, your tip might not have been as big. Since you were only in a little bit, your tip should be a little larger.
4. Personally, I would have tipped between $300 and $500, according to how I felt about the service I received, and how friendly the employees were.
Hope this helps answer your question. Just my opinions, of course.
