Perhaps these new chips can be termed, "Modern Illegals." I would have no problem with that. My only problem is trying to find a Modern Illegal from the Mayfair Club, like the ones you have (but don't collect ). Ah, I'm just envious of those. Hopefully, one day, they will turn up. The owners of the Mayfair apparently authorized the article about them in the Poker Life magazine (which I would love to get a copy of). They could still have racks of their chips. The guy from the Diamond Club told me he still had their chips, including denominations he said no one had. He was also aware that they sold for a premium among collectors. Anyone know the guys who used to run the Mayfair?
